Sticky Note Quotes

Hi I'm Caitlin a refuge from GR due to its censoring of reviewers. I'm still getting use to the site and hope to get back into the rhythm of writing reviews for all I'm reading. Here is what stars mean to me: 1- Was horrible, no one should read it 2- Didn't click with me but someone else may enjoy or didn't live up to expectations 3- I enjoyed it, nothing special(most books) 4- Very good but the there was still enough flaws to prevent me from falling in love with it 5- I loved it, it made me think and feel strong emotions, very few flaws
The Titan's Curse - Rick Riordan I have to say I hated the first in this series, but enjoyed the 2nd and this one. It was good, interesting book and I'll be reading the next one.
Sapphique (Incarceron) - Catherine Fisher An okay book, but not that good or special. But if you liked the first you will enjoy this one.
The Scorch Trials - James Dashner Not as good as the first one and all the characters felt stereotypical, plain, and they acted so different from how they where in The Maze Runner. But I will be reading the third and final book, The Death Cure.
The Water Wars - Cameron Stracher Honestly i had a hard time getting into this book, first off it took me till about page 30 to figure out our main character was a girl and everything was too fast and they just jump from one place to another without spending any time there or suffering.
Feed - Mira Grant I loved this book! It still had some flaws, but was an interesting look at zombies with a scientific reason behind it and not during the out brake but 20 years later, with a look at how the world has adapted. But I have to warn you it is a sad story and people due die. And P.S.- don't get attached to the cat.
Ironside - Holly Black I'm glad there is an "ending" to the series, but I fell like she left plenty of room for more books :( .
XVI - Julia Karr Nothing special it felt too much like all the other apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic/dystopian novels being pumped out after The Hunger Games. But not that bad and I'll be reading the sequel.
Ruby Red - Kerstin Gier A fairly good book, but nothing special. Hopefully the sequel is as good or better.
Pegasus - Robin McKinley This is the story of a princess and her Pegasus. It has the fell of a fairy tale and was fairly interesting, but the ending wasn't an ending it was like you cut out the end of the book. But it wasn't bad and if your in the mood for a fairy tale it might work for you. And Robin Mckinley better be hard at work on the sequel...
Forbidden - Tabitha Suzuma First let me get my normal human reaction out of the way yuck, yuck, yuck! But even if it was about incest it still manged to be a really goo love story even if I didn't like the end. Yes this review is crappy but I'm not really sure what to say, but I recommend reading Lyndsey's review she says it much better then me.
Tongues of Serpents: A Novel of Temeraire (Temeraire Series) - Naomi Novik I really enjoyed the first several books in this series, they where interesting and made you want to know what happened next. This one not so much. It just felt different from the others and not in a good way. Their whole adventure felt useless and unneeded and I really just wanted to get back to the war.
Unicorn Point - Piers Anthony This book was...okay but it felt unnecessary I really which the series had been left at the original trilogy and the ending even for a fantasy felt unbelievable. But I'm going to be tracking down the last one to see what the heck happens.
Incarceron - Catherine Fisher I was really excited to read this book, it look interesting. But it ended up just being okay, things weren't explained clearly at points leaving me confused and other things just didn't make sense no madder how hard you thought about it. But an okay book and I will be reading the sequel, but will not be buying it.
The Ask and the Answer - Patrick Ness Much better then the first book, but it wasn't anything special.
The Heretic's Daughter - Kathleen Kent This is the story of a young girl whose mother is tried as a witch in the Salem witch trials. It was a okay book at times I had trouble sticking with it but it was interesting.
The Sea of Monsters - Rick Riordan

I'm going to be honest I hated the first book in this series it about bored me to tears and I hate to say, it felt to juvenile. But this one was good, nothing special, but good. The characters felt more real and I actually cared what happened to them.
